The ultimate badminton championship where VCs sweat up for change.
“Venture Capital industry in general is combative and very collaborative in nature, but there are few gatherings to exchange ideas in an informal fashion. With the BBC we aim to achieve it”
- Pankaj Makkar, MD, Bertelsmann India Investments
The Bertelsmann Badminton Championship is a unique event that strives to unite the main Venture Capitalists and funds of India to compete against each other, providing an sportive and enriching networking space where VCs sweat up for change.
To celebrate the spirit of our investment community –foresightedness, risk-taking and perseverance- the Bertelsmann Badminton Championship gathers 1 team per fund, of 2 people each, at the well-known Commonwealth Games venue, the Shri Fort Stadium. After battling it out against India’s top-notch VCs, the event is followed by a fun-filled evening of dinner, drinks and networking, starting at 7.00pm, where the trophies and shields are awarded.
Over 20 funds and 50+ venture capitalists participated in last years' exciting BBC edition, won by the Sequoia Capital team. Don’t miss it out and RSVP for the 2017 edition!
